Police enquiry into property deals in Liverpool and building projects with cost over runs continue.
But it’s not by any means a quick investigation. The mayor of Liverpool – and others – were arrested in 2020. By June 2025, nearly FIVE YEARS later, the Liverpool Echo reported what they called a “major step in the investigation”. A file of evidence had gone from the police to the CPS. Let’s hope the Unite enquiry moves a bit more quickly. Anderson’s trial has been listed for 2027!
